STUART Edward
SHEARER Artist

'Time and Motion' at Salthouse 10 (2009-10) is a record of a journey to and fro, from home to work and back, over one working year. The drawings represent the physical reaction of the human body to the otherwise ignored jolting and juddering experienced whilst travelling along in a motor car. The zigzag presentation of the sketchbooks reiterates the repetitive condition of one's daily, weekly, monthly and yearly commute.... 'Ambulatory Drawing' at Cley 17 (2017) A group exhibition including a series of drawings made on site during the show and then exhibited before being replaced by subsequent drawings.
