Statement for Ambulatory Drawing: CLEY 17
Ambulatory drawing is the act of drawing with both hands whilst walking. The complexity of this activity encourages the ambulant artist to embrace uncertainty and become increasingly attuned to the serendipitous potential of the disruptions and distractions that occur whilst moving within a given environment. As a result, an ambulatory drawing can be understood as an emergent effect of the dynamic interconnectivity of artist, equipment and environment.....
